Church & Community Walk in solidarity with Ferguson ~ Join us as we bear witness that Black Lives Ma4er
DECEMBER 14TH 12:30 PM
FIRST CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH OF BERKELEY
Stop Mass Incarceration Network is supporting this call by local faith communities
We invite local churches, and all community members of the Bay Area together to join together in hands and voices to say, “Black Lives MaTer!” We reject the divisions of racism, and stand in solidarity against the oppression and murder of people of color in the United States of America.
We stand before a God who made each and every being in God’s image; precious, and holy. We understand that our well being, safety, hope, and dignity are bound up in one another and so in the words of the prophet and faith leader Fannie Lou Hamer we will walk sing and pray together knowing that, “Nobody’s free until everybody’s free”.
