Walkout of classes, meet in Quarry Plaza
On Monday, Dec 8th 2014, we propose that students, faculty, and university workers Walk Out of their classes and off of their posts to show solidarity against the injustices of the UC Regents. We will meet in Quarry Plaza to rally and deliver our pledge for action.
The UC Regents will not wake up one day to be "more benevolent" and the State legislature will continue to put forward plans that turn universities into factories -- both will continue to privatize our education. The time for asking is over, the time for action is NOW!
