I am a current student at CCSF, and I am here to tell you it needs to be shut down. Yea, maybe the accreditation committee is corrupt and employs liars and idiots, but as a current student, it is my experience the teachers are flaking out. Many of those teachers cannot even write legibly. Yes it is my belief some of the teachers at CCSF need to take writing courses. The teachers repeatedly require students to spend up to 6 hours of outside classroom work per week, and it's only supposed to be 3. I have spent upwards of 12 hours for one class outside the classroom. Lots of students are going to that school only to get financial aide. And those are the ones' who drag down everyone else. The on campus non-smoking policy is NOT being enforced by either staff or the campus police. Some of the facilities or classrooms are falling apart. Many classrooms on many of the campuses are sweat boxes, and intolerable. The printing system on that campus breaks down daily.
So I say shut it down then open it back up with new teachers, and shut down some of the buildings.
