Transition Berkeley invites you to join us for a delicious vegetarian pot luck dinner,
a joyful green song fest with Hali Hammer and Nancy Schimmel from Occupella, and
HAPPY, an uplifting movie about human beings at their best.
Our featured film HAPPY takes us on a journey from the swamps of Louisiana to the slums of Kolkata in search of what really makes people happy. Combining real life stories of people from around the world and powerful interviews with the leading scientists in happiness research. Happy explores the secrets behind our most valued emotion.
Come at 6:30 pm for the pot luck dinner. Please bring vegetarian dishes to share. We'll celebrate community after dinner with joyful green songs from Occupella's song book. The film will begin around 7:15. Let's gather together to sing out the old year and bring in the new (a little early) with a stronger, more connected and happier community.
