Ceremony + Potluck + Music + Speeches

Ann Marie Sayers (Tribal Chairperson of Indian Canyon) is inviting YES on J supporters to Indian Canyon to celebrate our community's victory against Big Oil. Ann Marie will lead a ceremony. Afterwards, we'll have a potluck, music, poetry and speeches. Bring musical instruments!

Indian Canyon has been the spiritual center for the Measure J campaign and it's appropriate that we end our campaign at this very special place in San Benito County.

Please see potluck suggestions below.

Potluck Suggestion -- If your last name begins with:
A - F (Bring a salad or appetizer)
G - M (Bring a main dish)
N - S (Bring dessert -- fruits are a fine option)
T - Z (Bring drink -- no alcohol please)

Bring your own plate, utensils & cup (and take home to wash). Help us minimize garbage.

NO ALCOHOL PLEASE DUE TO OHLONE CEREMONY

Thanks to tribal chairperson, Ann Marie Sayers, for generously allowing use of the Indian Canyon outdoor facility.

About Indian Canyon:

Indian Canyon is the only land continuously held by the Ohlone people, the first inhabitants of the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas. Indian Canyon is the only federally recognized "Indian Country" along coastal Northern California From Santa Barbara to Sonoma.
