The CARA SF CAT is the local chapter of the California Alliance for Retired Americans (CARA).

CARA is a group of over 200 labor and community organizations collectively representing over 950,000 Californians, with 17 chapters ("CATs") across California.

We focus on local events to advance our state-wide agenda in protecting Social Security and Medicare, promoting single-payer healthcare, securing a fair state budget, and housing, as well as engage in local issues.
