Shanti Project is looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to volunteer for a 4-hour shift during their 40th Anniversary Compassion is Universal benefit event on Saturday, October 18th at the historic Fairmont Hotel atop Nob Hill. Volunteer shifts times are 12:30-4:30; 4-8 pm; 6-10pm and tasks range from helping to set-up the event to assisting with silent auction sales and guest registration. All proceeds from Compassion is Universal support Shanti’s mission of providing compassionate practical and emotional support to San Francisco’s most vulnerable individuals living with a life-threatening illness, such as HIV/AIDS, breast and gynecological cancers.
