Social justice activists and cultural workers turn out to celebrate Freedom Archives and their 15 years of preserving the Bay Area's radical history and making them useful to future generations though an online database, radio and video documentaries, and publications. Festivities include live music by Tarika Lewis, the first woman to join the Black Panther Party, and the Youth Ensemble; Puerto Rican spoken word and Latin jazz musician Rico Pabon & live band; and Emceed by Anita Johnson of Hard Knock Radio. Special tributes from political prisoners and movement elders to be announced.
