We have seen terrible incidents of police abuse in Ferguson, Oakland, and San Jose. We are very concerned the new drone SJPD has acquired will result in similar situations. San Jose City Council approved the eight thousand dollar drone without community consent. The San Jose Peace and Justice Center is petitioning and protesting militarization of local police departments.

Speakers:
Charlotte Casey- Code Pink, San Jose Peace & Justice Center
Dan Mayfield- National Lawyers Guild
Raj Jayadev- Silicon Valley De-Bug
Don Gagliardi- Candidate for District 3 City Council
Richard Konda- Asian Law Alliance, Coalition for Justice and Accountability
Zahra Billoo- Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR SFBA)
