Hosted by the Berkeley Underground Film Society, LOOP (Lost and Out of Print) is an all ages movie night and analog cinema club for collectors, researchers, and film enthusiasts in the East Bay and San Francisco Area. We review buried or rarely projected 16mm, Super 8 and 8mm prints in our collection.

09/19 - Queen of Burlesque (1946) 16mm/B&W/Sound/70 min.
Crystal McCoy, known as the Queen of Burlesque, works for Joe Nolan. When Crystal learns that Nolan has offered the starring position to Dolly Devoe, she angrily confronts him and announces that she will hold him to her contract. Crystal's boyfriend, newspaper columnist Steve Hurley, suggests that she quit and marry him, but Crystal turns him down. Various performers and backstage crew come under suspicion when a dancer is found murdered at a burlesque theatre.
