Please come to discuss the latest ideas with Food Not Bombs volunteers.
We are planning some exciting future events and want to keep our Saturday meal and Sunday groceries going here in Santa Cruz. We need volunteers!
Food Not Bombs shares food every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm in front of the downtown Post Office. Please join us. If you would like to volunteer, please let us know! We can be reached via Facebook, email at info@santacruzfoodnotbombs or you can call us at 831-515-8234!
The mission of Food Not Bombs is to recover and shares free vegan or vegetarian food with the public without restriction to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment. Each of our over 1,000 groups is independent making decisions using the consensus process. Food Not Bombs is also dedicated to taking nonviolent direct action to change society so no one is forced to stand in line to eat at a soup kitchen expressing a commitment to the fact that food is a right and not a privilege. With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?
