On Saturday August 16th at 5am port workers, activists and average citizens will gather at West Oakland BART and march to birth 57 in the Port of Oakland to Block Israeli Zim ships from being unloaded... and kpfa will be there broadcasting live to you.

§gather at West Oakland BART at 5am tomorrow - Monday

The Israeli ship Zim Piraeus finally docked at the SSA terminal in the Port of Oakland this afternoon. An impromptu picket line formed at the gates this evening, and longshore workers refused to cross it. They have gone home for the night, and have said that if there's a picket line again tomorrow, they will honor it. Rumor has it that there's even a possibility that if the ship is not worked tomorrow morning it may simply leave.

Please gather at West Oakland BART at 5am tomorrow - Monday - morning, to continue to picket the ship, and chase it out of Oakland!

Does any one know why the national Lawyers Guild Labor Committee has not endorsed this action or provided solidarity? They should have been side by side with us.
