in downtown Santa Cruz, at the corner of Water and Pacific
In Santa Cruz, at the Town Clock Park, we are blessed to have the Collateral Damage Sculpture, a beautiful work of art dedicated to the civilian victims of war.
Wednesday August 6th, is the 69th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, and the 69th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki comes on August 9th.
The effects of Fukushima, and Chernobyl are still wide spread,
and the nuclear war heads and power plants still abound.
Meanwhile the sacrifice of innocent civilians continues in Gaza, Pakistan, Afghanistan...........
Please join People United for Peace of Santa Cruz County for a simple Candlelight Vigil for Peace at the Town Clock/Collateral Damage Sculpture Park in downtown Santa Cruz, at the corner of Water and Pacific from 7-8:30 PM
Bring candles and flowers, and simple signs of Peace
May Peace Prevail!
