Sanctuary Village TOWN HALL MEETING

You may have heard about the movement for a Sanctuary Village for homeless residents here in Santa Cruz. If so, it is likely that you’ve heard some, or a lot of, incorrect information, much of it contrary to known facts. The truth may sometimes be difficult to find, but it is available in this case, and we would like to address some frequently asked questions and misunderstandings [that have been promoted by parties against the construction of a Sanctuary Village]. Everyone is invited to attend, to ask questions, and to have a community conversation informed by facts, which are too often missing from the one-sided rants we see on blogs and in letters to the editor.
