About the speakers:
Tarek Abuata grew up in Bethlehem, Palestine, and moved to the United States along with his family at the age of 12. Abuata serves as the Palestine Coordinator of the Christian Peacemaker Team in Palestine. He is a founding member of the Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace.
Ghassan Tarazi was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to a Palestinian father and a Lebanese mother, four months after they were forced to leave their home in Jerusalem in 1948. His family then immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1956. He has been very involved in the struggle for justice in Palestine and Israel locally, nationally, and internationally. He is a founding member of the Palestinian Christian Alliance for Peace.
