Dr. Alberto Roque is a medical doctor, professor at the Medical University of Havana, and LGBT activist/advocate for over 10 years. In 2010, Dr Roque, along with others, founded the "Hombres por la Diversidad," an advocacy and reflection group for the right of free sexual identity. He is also an activist and founding member of Cuba's Anti-Homophobia Movement. From 2004-2012, Roque was a member of Cuba's National Commission for Transsexual Care. Discussion will follow his presentation.
