Bonnie Lockhart is a Bay Area singer, songwriter, educator and activist. She sang with the anti-war folk group, the Red Star Singers; toured and recorded with women’s music groups The Berkeley Women’s Music Collective and Swingshift, and continues to get folks singing in this millennium with her pals in Occupella. Her original songs, infused with her love of international folk music and American jazz, have been widely recorded and anthologized. Her musical work with both children and adults embodies her belief in the transformative power of participatory music. http://www.bonnielockhart.com/
Host Hali Hammer is an award winning singer-songwriter who enjoys writing and playing a wide variety of music. She has sung and played for peace and political causes for over three decades and is an active member of Freedom Song Network http://www.halihammer.com/
