Committee for Justice in Palestine at UCSC Moves Divestment Bill Forward
UCSC Student Assembly votes to add divestment hearing to agenda.
On Tuesday, May 20, the UC Santa Cruz Committee for Justice in Palestine presented a divestment bill to the UCSC Student Union Assembly. The bill was put on the agenda by 13 - 11 vote. Next week, the debate will be held. Go Slugs!!!

"Justice the seed, peace the flower": The Committee for Justice in Palestine is a student-run Palestine solidarity and awareness organization at the University of California Santa Cruz. Meetings are Wednesday nights at 7 PM in Cowell Classroom 216.
The Committee for Justice in Palestine is a student-run organization formed to educate students and the local community about the Palestinian struggle for self-determination in the light of the ongoing Israeli occupation and mass-displacement of Palestinian refugees. CJP's work includes educational documentaries, enlightening speakers, informational workshops, and cultural events, all aimed at spreading awareness about the Palestinian struggle for human rights.
The CJP welcomes everyone to our meetings, and strives to provide a safe space for all ethnic, religious, gender, political, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
