The Ecology Center Farmers’ Markets Program is proud to announce the 10th Annual Free Family Fun Festival co-sponsored by the Downtown Berkeley YMCA, the City of Berkeley, Parks, Recreation & Waterfront Dept., and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). Featuring games, contests, performances, and hands-on activities for all ages!
Program Description: (10am-3pm)
2 Bouncy Houses
Face Painting
Obstacle Course
Farm Animal Petting Zoo (Baby goats, chickens, and pigs courtesy of Redwood Hill Farm and Riverdog Farm)
Skateboarding Contest (begins at 11)
Hula Hoop Contests
Strawberry Walk
Puppet Making with East Bay Depot for Creative ReUse
Create-With-Nature Zone with Environmental Artist Zach Pine
Ear Seeds and Chinese Medicine Summer Health Tips with Shift Acupuncture
Green Branch Reading Room (All ages, environmentally-themed library)
World’s Amazing Plants with UC Botanical Garden
Zine Making Station for kids & adults with local publication Rad Dad
Family Friendly Science with Science@Cal and Community Resources for Science
