Exhibit: Art of the Carnation Revolution
On the 40th Anniversary of the Portuguese Revolution of April 25, 1974
Political struggles over land, labor, and production in Portugal from 1975 to
1980 as told by fifty-eight original poster cards from newborn political parties,
trade unions, and social movements
Exhibit on display from April 18 through July 31, 2014, all library hours.
Sharat G. Lin, who collected the poster cards in 1980, will discuss the
historical context on Tuesday, April 22 at 1-2 pm.
