Join Lauren Coodley, author of "Upton Sinclair, California Socialist, Celebrity Intellectual" and Jay Martin, public historian and labor activist, for a Shaping SF panel, "Upton Sinclair and the End Poverty campaign in California" at 518 Valencia! The event starts at 7:30.

Lauren's wonderful book focuses on Sinclair's alliance with notable feminists of the day. Jay will be speaking to the EPIC campaign in California, which which sought to end poverty in California during the depths of the Depression.
