Richard Haass
Richard Haass argues that for the U.S. to remain important in this century, it must reduce its foreign interventions (both military and humanitarian) and focus instead on restoring its own economic health. Richard is interviewed by E.J. Dionne a columnist for the Washington Post.

Richard says that U.S. national security depends on the United States addressing its burgeoning deficit and debt, crumbling infrastructure, second class schools, and outdated immigration system. Richard's primary focus is on domestic policy; the need to reverse the decline of U.S. competitiveness, stabilize the middle class, and strengthen the economy. Dr. Haass is the author or editor of eleven books on American foreign policy and one book on management.
