Opening Friday, April 12, at Berkeley City College’s Jerry Adams Gallery is the Spring 2014 Student Art Exhibition, showcasing selected works by students at Berkeley City College, one of the Peralta Colleges. The exhibit is free, and open to members of the public of all ages. The show runs through August 22, 2014 and is open 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday and will feature the art of Judith Allen, Aurea Altamirano, Monique Boyd, William S.P. Brown, Andrea Daly, Yuksel Dinccag, Ryan "Remo" Fioroni, Adriana Galdos, Pearl Jones-Tranter, Sam Kaso, Robert A. Kastner, Jacqueline Last, Chuenkamol Bee Marrone, Jordyn Muldrow, Jean Pfann, Jessica Phrogus, Antonio Ramos, Arden Kamille Varnel, and Elon Walton.
The Jerry Adams Gallery at Berkeley City College (BCC) - an instructor/student run adventure – is located in room 112, a multi-use space on the first floor of the Berkeley City College building at 2050 Center Street. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM. It is also visible from Center Street. BCC is wheelchair accessible and is just ½ block west of the Berkeley BART station.
A Reception for the Student Art Exhibition will be held Wednesday, April 23rd - 6 to 8 pm in Jerry Adams Gallery. Food and beverages will be served.
