Distributing brochures at BART stations throughout the Bay Area, primarily the morning rush (7-9 AM), the evening rush (4-6 PM); noon; also at other community sites such as schools, workplaces, churches, etc.

Monday, September 14 is the Global Day Against Military Spending (GDAMS). The Bay Area New Priorities Campaign invites you to join folks from more than a dozen peace & justice groups to let our neighbors know that US military spending is more than that of the next 14 countries combined. Does that make us safe? Let's shift military spending to meet the needs of our communities -- education, housing, green jobs, etc.
