Sean Dorsey Dance returns to the San Francisco stage with an evening of powerful dances: a WORLD PREMIERE excerpt from Dorsey’s new show ‘The Missing Generation’ and an exclusive return engagement of the exquisite Lou from ‘Uncovered: The Diary Project.’ Advance tickets are highly recommended for this three-nights-only event.

THE MISSING GENERATION – world premiere excerpt: The Missing Generation will explore the contemporary impact of the loss of so much of an entire generation of gay and transgender people to AIDS in the 1980s and 90s. This world premiere excerpt will feature Sean Dorsey Dance’s acclaimed full-throttle movement, luscious partnering and sumptuous pairing of storytelling and dance.

LOU (from ‘UNCOVERED: THE DIARY PROJECT’): Lou (2009) is a suite of dances based on the lifelong journals of pioneering transgender activist Lou Sullivan (1951-1991). Sullivan was a gay transgender man and a trailblazing activist, writer and organizer who lived and died in San Francisco.
