DRAWING THE BOX
with Carolyn Garcia

What is sustainable? Just how sustainable are the current pinnacles of green living touted as green solutions to two of the most pressing issues facing humanity today — climate change and dwindling high quality fossil fuels? From solar panels and wind mills to electric cars and reusable water bottles, bags, and mugs, sustainability depends on how big you are willing to draw the box of sustainability.

We will explore these green solutions from a life cycle assessment perspective. References will include the writings of:

Michael Braungart
William McDonough
Ozzie Zehrer
William Orts
Paul Erhlich

Humanist Hall is wheelchair accessible around the corner at 411 28th Street

$5 donations are expected.
