Anthony died while in custody of the Placer County Jail 2 days after he was remanded on an old charge that his mother Murlene Talisa Spinks said he had taken care of. Anthony was a father, a provider, a standout athlete in the Placer County school system. He left behind two beautiful daughters. Anthony died under mysterious circumstances.
But Anthony did not die in vain. Since his death Placer Sheriffs have put procedures into place that will save others from dieing a lonely horrific death in lock up.
Anthony's mother wants to commend the Sheriff's for making these changes but she reminds them that this is just a first step and not enough.
Meet us on the corner of Bell Rd and Hwy 49. Bring signs, candles and banners that commemorate Skeet's life.
We will be marching to the Justice center for the candle light vigil.
