Fukushima Third Anniversary - Silent Meditation

Let us shut down our internal nukes, until we shut down our external nukes

Join us for a silent meditation and prayer for Japan and for all victims of the Fukushima nuclear disaster past present and future, on the third anniversary of the meltdowns, March 11, at 12 noon. Bring candles, warm hearts, and warm clothes: we'll convene in MLK Civic Center Park and form a circle on the grass; after a few words we'll sit silently for 20 minutes (though you can stop whenever you like), and then discuss what we feel. If you want, join us as we take lunch, and then take BART to San Francisco's Japan Consulate, arriving 3pm at 50 Fremont St. for a protest/reading of a letter to Japan's PM Shinzo Abe (see https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2014/02/21/18751400.php ; also, Japan Consulate Actions at http://fukushimathirdanniversaryevents.blogspot.com ).
