6. INFORMATION: Placemaking Panel Discussion

The vast majority of the nine county Bay Area citizens/residents do not even know of this appointed (not elected) regional governmental agency, let alone what powers it has. It has granted itself much power. Get involved. Find out what it does. This agency and it's three sister regional agencies recently pushed through the Plan Bay Area. Almost no one knows what that is. Today this committee will be developing further rules for adding more PDAs and PCAs. These abbreviations will have a big impact on your future. Find out what this means. They do not have your ability to be a healthy, well-connected person in society in mind. Neither do the "expert panel" member/speakers. This is about development corporations and their finance corporation partners making as much money as possible.
