There will be a KPFA town hall meeting in front of KFPA (free speech) on Sunday November 17, 2013. Although the KPFA/Pacifica bylaws require that there be a town hall meeting every 6 months the KPFA Local Station Board has not had one for many years.
This speakout will allow the listeners, supporters and workers paid and unpaid at KPFA to speakout on their concerns in front of the station on Sunday November 17, 2013.

The 2013 Local Station Board elections are also mandated by the bylaws but have not occurred. The LSB cannot reelect itself just by sitting in office, doing nothing, at best. For the money, they can do an LSB elections fundraiser right now on the air. They can raise money quickly by calling a wholesale CD/DVD business for discounts on classical music CDs and DVDs, and offering them as thank you gifts. In one week, KPFA will have more than enough money to pay for the LSB elections. The Board members and the year their term expires are at:

As to the Town Hall Meeting, how about referring to the 9/11 Inside Job as such on KPFA and stop featuring reactionaries like Noam Chomsky on KPFA. For more, see:

I only vote for people who support the fact that 9/11 Inside Job and state that everytime they refer to the 9/11 Inside Job. I also vote for people who support classical music on KPFA as much as possible, who never allow Noam Chomsky and his reactionary minions on their program, who celebrate the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution on KPFA every year on November 7, as was done when Bill Mandel had his program for many years, who support Workweek Radio and want to hear more of it, not just 2 hours a month, who support Peace & Freedom and the Green Party and who every chance they get, highlight the reactionary words and deeds of the Democrat-Republicans, and who understand and state out loud on KPFA that the primary cause of all our grief is the private profit system which must be eliminated if humanity and the Earth are to survive.
