Will you join us at City Hall this Thursday?
Thursday, October 31
We’re excited! AFT 2121, the Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment, and Re-Fund California are partnering. On Halloween, we march to deliver several thousand postcards to Mayor Lee asking him to Protect Our City College! Will you join us?
CCSF is one of the largest community colleges in the country, bringing more than $300 million to SF each year and serving more than 80,000 students. Our City College provides academic courses, career and technical education, English as Second Language, and so much more. CCSF is a vital institution for San Francisco that provides irreplaceable and affordable pathways for many, including:
low-income and immigrant communities
displaced workers
veterans
students in need of second—and third—chances
students transferring to four-year institutions
With the college’s accreditation and future threatened by the ACCJC, San Francisco must stand behind CCSF to preserve the opportunities it provides to our City and its residents. Have you signed the postcard to the Mayor?
Costumes Encouraged! Come as a City College graduate or City College student.
This is the public's college. This is San Francisco's college!
