Announcing Jack of All Trades Market:
New monthly event celebrating culture, art, and local commerce arrives to Jack London Square
Jack London Sq. Oakland, CA (10/2/13) - From the producers of the popular Treasure Island Flea comes the Jack of All Trades, a monthly event held every second Saturday featuring a highly curated mix of ~100 local artists, designers, makers, vintage apparel collectors, antiques, and re-purposed/upcycled goods.
The grand opening for this highly anticipated event is Saturday, Oct. 12th from 11am to 5pm. Admission is free and entry is open to the public!
“We are thrilled to bring this special event to Jack London Square”, said Charlie Ansanelli, Producer and Organizer of the event. “Oakland has a rich history that celebrates creativity, art and culture. We are excited to showcase and support local entrepreneurs within the community by offering them an affordable platform here in Oakland where they can connect to local residents.”
In addition to the unique shopping, the event will also host educational ‘Do-It-Yourself’ workshops, live music from local musicians, award winning food and craft beers.
“This is the perfect opportunity for East Bay residents to get their holiday shopping started early, or to just enjoy a day of friends and family fun”, stated Charlie Ansanelli
