Please join the Wild Equity Institute for the screening of three fantastic films: Return Flight, Achieving Balance, and Returning Home. A discussion with writer, producer, director, and co-founder of Filmmakers Collaborative, SF, Kevin White will follow the screening.
Return Flight: Follow the journey of the bald eagle’s recovery from DDT contamination, overhunting, and egg collecting.
Achieving Balance: Narrated by John Cleese, this film chronicles the efforts of state and federal resource managers to remove rats from Anacapa Island.
Returning Home: Over the span of ten years, dedicated scientists worked with local schools and government agencies to restore the Common Murre to their ancestral home off the coast of San Francisco.
About Kevin White and Filmmakers Collaborative, SF:
Kevin White has screened his films at several acclaimed festivals including the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, the International Wildlife Film Festival, and the San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival. His work gained national attention as part of the Emmy-award winning PBS series Natural Heroes.
