Every year thousands flock to Ocean Beach for what has become one of the most unique and artistic fundraising events in NorCal. Teams of architects, builders, and corporations pair up with San Francisco Elementary Schools to create amazing 20'x20' sand sculptures. Over 30 teams will compete for Best in Show and other coveted awards while raising money for Leap's art education programs.
This years theme: Masterpieces in Sand
Spectators at the beach can also participate in building through the Community Sandcastle.
This is a free event.
Come out and enjoy a day at the beach, watch as teams build truly spectacular creations out of sand and water, enjoy food trucks in the Sandcastle Village and take in a day at one of San Francisco's most beautiful locations.
