EV Week Palo Alto: Palo Alto Drivers Invited to Get Behind the Wheel of an Electric Vehicle and Test-Drive the EV Difference.
On Wednesday, September 25 from 12pm to 5pm in Palo Alto City Hall Plaza, Palo Alto drivers are invited to test-drive the latest electric vehicles, enjoy an Electric Vehicle Expo and learn about the benefits, ease and accessibility of electric vehicle ownership EV car and scooter-sharing options in the Bay Area.

EV Week Palo Alto is part of "EV Week 2013: San Francisco to Silicon Valley," a FREE three-city, five-day electric car exposition designed to engage, educate and excite Bay Area drivers about the benefits, ease and accessibility of EV ownership.
Driving towards California Governor Jerry Brown's goal of getting 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on California's roadways by 2025, EV Week 2013 is inviting Bay Area drivers - from commuters to car sharers - to get behind the wheel of an EV and become part of the solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by driving greener, cleaner vehicles.
EV Week 2013 events & activities include:
- An Electric Vehicle Exposition showcasing the largest selection of new plug-in and all-electric vehicles.
- The latest EV charging technologies and mobile applications, car and scooter-sharing services.
- The chance to experience the EV difference behind the wheel through a robust Ride & Drive program.
EV Week 2013 is a flagship program of Charge Across Town (http://www.chargeacrosstown.com), an educational organization helping to advance the adoption of EVs in the Bay Area by educating the community about the benefits and use of electric vehicles and EV infrastructure.
