Animal Rights Theory
with Aaron Paul
Often lost in discussions of Climate Change and Global Economic Collapse is where humans fit into the very ecosystems that are falling into disarray. What are we? Human? Animal? What rights do all living species have that our current system does not afford them? Do we even have the right to decide on their behalf?
Aaron Paul discusses the recent revelatory, but troublesome, work, Zoopolis: A Political Theory of Animal Rights by Sue Donaldson and Will Kymlicka. Aaron will try to place it in the greater context of Animal Rights and Animal Rights Theory. Join us and participate in discussions about animal rights!
$5 donations are requested
Humanist Hall is wheelchair accessible around the corner at 411 28th Street
