Celebrate of UN Peace Day with Dr. Sharat G. Lin, who'll speak on "Global Peace and Social Justice: The Future of the United Nations". This is a discussion about the root challenges facing the United Nations, including the U.S. and what is needed to advance the United Nations, make it more democratic, and enable it to truly carry out its Charter.

Dr. Sharat Lin is the former president of San Jose Peace and Justice Center, writer and photojournalist focusing on global political economy, the Middle East, South Asia, labor migration and public health.

Brunch follows talk. Open to the public. Suggested donation $5-20 requested to benefit SJPJC and SVUNA.
