NEW EASTERN SPAN OF BAY BRIDGE
WEAR and BEAR our message -- NO WAR ON SYRIA! -- let's SHOW what we think to the people here and around the world.
The new Bay Bridge includes a beautiful pedestrian+bicycle path along the eastern span (it ends just short of Treasure Island). When you drive out of San Francisco, right next to you are people of all ages walking and biking back and forth, enjoying the incredible vistas.
PLAN TO ARRIVE at either of the two walk/bike path entry points by 12 Noon.
Bicyclists can BART to W. Oakland or MacArthur, then bike there. Cars can park in Emeryville or Oakland near these "trailheads," http://tinyurl.com/nncl6fk .
Everyone is welcome, and your presence will be seen and heard: students, activists, elders - people of faith, community members - revolutionaries, veterans, writers and creative artists - those who fight for the people's rights already, and those who've never taken part in an independent political action before.
Bring your friends, families, neighbors. There has been no more important moment for all of us to stand, speak, act - to stop this next war.
Bring your photo/video cameras! Our message and imagery will be powerful, and we will want to share & post, far & wide!
