Ban the Box Community Meeting, District 5

You are invited to a special community meeting to learn more about San Francisco’s Ban-the-Box-Campaign. In early September, the San Francisco Board Of Supervisors will hear groundbreaking legislation to standardize the way that background checks are used in employment and affordable housing. This will ensure that background checks do not mean a life sentence of unemployment and homelessness for people with arrest records. This event is second a series of community meetings across the City to build support for this important campaign.
