August 6, 2012, Chevron's negligence led to a toxic mushroom cloud over Richmond and west Contra Costa County. Join the people of Richmond at the Richmond Civic Center Plaza at 6:00 p.m. to commemorate this chemical assault on our community. August 6, is also Hiroshima Day, commemorating their mushroom cloud. At 6:25 p.m. we will toll a bell 15 times to recognize the 15,000 people who went to local hospitals.
