Highland Hospital Rally for Interpreters

Patients who have experienced life and death medical issues because of poor communication and a lack of interpreters will rally at Highland Hospital. Alameda County has the best interpreting program in the region, drawing many Limited English Speaking Patients, yet without federal funding there is limited access to interpreters. Patients are calling on Highland Hosptial to tell the Governor, “We need all the federal dollars we can get to pay for interpreters.”
