Join us at Michael David Winery for Yoga in the Vineyard, Wine Tasting featuring a "Farm to Fork" Lunch Buffet. In many "yoga" cultures the weekly marketplace was a cultural experience filled with sustainable community practices, including "Farm to Fork." Ubiquity Yoga ~ Health and Wellness, is helping to lead a new way forward, healing what is hurting our communities by merging the practice of mind, body and spirit through Yoga while expanding urban agriculture opportunities in a way that nourishes people, sustains small family farmers, respect lands, and broadens our sustainable agriculture economy, “the greatest garden in the world.”
The 2013 season of monthly Yoga in the Vineyard events, began February 2013, at Paradise Estates in Sonoma County, and is well positioned and known throughout California Wine Country for the pursuit of excellence. We are expanding the intersection of a healthy yoga practice, fine wine and the best of California grown, farm to fork seasonal flavors, expertly prepared.
Our growing conversation features food and nutrition public policy, hospitality and tourism industries, traditional health professionals and many alternative professional disciplines toward the shared goal of realized positive health and wellness outcomes, while enjoying the diversity of California wine country.
For several decades Allison Boyd has practiced yoga and studied healthy living while working in the Northern California tourism and health care industries. While traveling to Costa Rica on vacation with a few of Lodi, CA award winning winemakers, the notion of sharing cultural tourism, food and wine while expanding a healthy lifestyle became a vision that has come to life, in a good way.
“Yoga in the Vineyard" allows new and seasoned students to experience the special outdoor ambiance of the vineyard while anticipating a special farm to fork experience and wine parings carefully selected that showcase excellence, California wine country and the diversity of Yoga.
