PeaceTones is holding its very first Bay Area event this July! Come out to learn about our cause, listen to some great new music by Zing Experience, and support our upcoming Kenya project! All proceeds from the show will go towards funding musicians' rights workshops and peace concerts in Nairobi, Kenya this Fall!
Appetizers and drinks are included in your ticket purchase.
PeaceTones is an all-inclusive, non-partisan group working to redefine the world music industry. We work with musicians in low-income, post conflict or post disaster communities, as they can be powerful agents of change within their communities. We see ourselves as a fair trade music movement, empowering unknown musicians in developing nations with marketing and legal knowledge and access to online platforms to share their music globally. Using innovative learning and incentive models, we conduct expert-led workshops to educate these artists on their rights and tools to grow their careers. In return, those artists help support health, education and music programs in their home communities.
