A Socialist Take on Gun Violence, State Violence, and Workers’ Right to Self-Defense
Discuss the tragedy of armed attacks by individuals in the context of the profit system’s mayhem of war and poverty. Also get updates on: the fight to save City College of SF, LGBT Pride weekend activities in support of whistleblower Bradley Manning, and ways to support the June-Sept. $100,000 Freedom Socialist fund drive. The meeting is free and open to all. Lunch is served at 12:15pm ($8 donation requested).
