“I have come to learn that the power of personal stories is that they can touch people deeply, with the potential to evoke great passion, dedication and commitment to a cause. As an activist, to be able to foster love and positive action for those in need is a dream come true.” These are the words of Somaly Mam, a Cambodian human rights activist and human trafficking survivor and Founder and President of the Somaly Mam Foundation. She will share her story and discuss her humanitarian work.
