SF Pride "Calls" for "Community" Meeting

"The SF Pride Board recognizes and regrets the recent error in the announcement of Mr. Bradley Manning as the Electoral College’s Community Grand Marshal. As promised, in the spirit of fairness and transparency, we are calling for an open forum where we can hear the full range of the community’s concerns."

We're asking supporters to arrive early and stand outside the venue with signs and messages of support and then call for the reinstatement of Bradley Manning in the public comment section of the meeting!

First Bradley Manning is a Hero and the Gay Pride parade is a Zero with a rich history of Fighting for Gay rights and a community who electing a City official Harvey Milk and the reaction to the Killing of him, beautiful both in rioting and peaceful transition. This is a sad time in the Gay community who would rather get a Tax break for the right to marry in a Homophobic Church (a Church that stole my peoples land and killed them, all 99%) or the right to fight in a KKKorporate fascist military (Do'nt ask, do'nt tell). I'm in full support of right to marry but we have way bigger problems like Global Warming (400 parts per million of Carbon Dioxide) which our driving is Acidifying our oceans, Stop Driving Global Warming. In closing Bradley Manning is a Hero not just for the Gay community as he is standing up for us all and is paying the price that other people like Leonard Peltier and Mumia Abu Jamal. I do not usually attend the Gay Pride parade but this year I will be there wearing a shirt in support of Bradley Manning.
