One of the most complicated conflicts in the world is the ongoing conflict is Israel/Palestine. No one documentary can tell the whole story, and "5 Broken Cameras" doesn’t try to. Instead, Emad Burnat tells his story, one of millions of stories from the region. A free screening of this 2013 Oscar nominee for “Best Documentary” on Saturday, June 8, at 1:30, at Niles Discovery Church, 255 H Street, Fremont, is co-sponsored by the church, Tri-City Perspectives and the San Jose Peace and Justice Center. It is being shown with the belief that the more we hear individuals’ stories from this region the more likely it is that we can find solutions to the violence. A discussion will follow the screening.
