Important City College of SF Board of Trustees Meeting on CCSF Budget
Thursday, May 23, 5 PM, Rm 140, Multi-Use Building on CCSF Ocean Campus

Dear Friends of CCSF and AFT 2121:
As you know, students, faculty, and community at City College of San Francisco have been engaged in a long-term struggle against the ACCJC, the District, and the Board of Trustees to preserve the services, educational quality, and working conditions at CCSF.
Next year, District revenues return to pre-recession levels with Prop A funds and other gains, including Prop 30, as well as increased state revenues. However, the upside-down Tentative Budget administration has proposed uses less than a third of Prop A funds on education and people. San Francisco didn’t pass Prop A to see the College downsized, its workers cut, and programs ended. Help us tell the Board of Trustees that we will not settle for a Community College that is a shadow of its former self!
AFT 2121 continues to demand a reordering of priorities in the “upside down” Tentative Budget. Please join us in protest at the Thursday, May 23, Board of Trustees meeting at 5pm (MUB 140) at the Ocean Campus (50 Phelan Ave.) to turn the budget right side up!
Can you make it? RSVP at aft [at] aft2121.org.
Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you there!
