Let's Stay Together is a monthly series of inter-generational interviews between radicals/creators of our generation and their local heroes. This project will begin with Elizabeth Sims holding a public conversation with Osha Neumann in order to discuss his personal and political trajectory as a former member of infamous NYC anti-art gang, Up Against the Wall, Motherfucker (and the Black Bear Commune in northern California), who now creates community murals and sculpture and practices activist law. Other interviews are planned to follow, and we are soliciting proposals for similar conversational pairings with the hope of fostering intimate conversation between generations that address sustaining radicalism throughout life's transitions, through the crises of failure and personal conflict, through shifts in personal ideation and shifts in the wider culture. This project allows us to ask the elders of our community how we may perpetuate critical growth, and how we may carry on together.
