The commonsense immigration reform that we have been fighting for years to achieve is at hand.
Join together with thousands of other concerned citizens who will participate in hundreds of actions across the country on May 1st.
Let’s tell our legislators: Pass the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill!
SEIU Local 521 is ready to work for practical immigration reform that leads to:
Economic growth with better wages for all workers
A clear roadmap to citizenship for hardworking, tax-paying families
Everyone – including employers – paying their fair share of taxes
Keeping families together
More workers being able to join union activities without the fear of deportation or retaliation
5:30-6:30 p.m.: Sign-waving/human billboarding for commonsense immigration reform
Santa Cruz Town Clock, Santa Cruz, 95060 (Corner of Mission St. and Pacific Ave.)
7 p.m.: Walk down Pacific Ave. to see the movie “Harvest of Empire” at the Del Mar Theatre, part of the Reel Work May Day Fim Festival.
